ABOUT Universal Pre-K
Urban Strategies, Inc. has collaborated with New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) to ensure that all children have rich and varied early learning experiences. We work to prepare children for success in school and lay the foundation for college and career readiness.
Our programs service all youth including children with disabilities, students with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), and English Language Learners (ELLs). We focus on physical development and health, social and emotional development, communication, language, literacy, cognition, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, and technology.
Eligibilities
- UPK Programs are free to eligible participants.
- Child must be 4 years old by December 31 of the enrollment year.
- Child must be a resident of New York City.
- Parent must submit child’s birth certificate, current medical, immunization records, and two proof of address.
- Families with HRA (Human Resource Administration) cases have priority enrollment.
