Chief Executive Officer

Pelham Bollers joined Urban Strategies, Inc. as a Summer Youth Counselor more than 25 years ago. Since then, he functioned in several capacities at the agency. As the Director of Human Resources, he facilitated the development of protocol as it relates to employee relations and personnel policies. Shortly thereafter, Pelham functioned in dual positions that of Director of Housing & Property Management, and as Director of Administration. Recognized for his work ethic, dynamic leadership, and unwavering dedication to community service by the agency’s previous Executive Director, Mona Green, he was charged with developing and managing what has now become more than 550 low-income, affordable apartment units for the organization.

In early 2000, Mr. Bollers was appointed CEO by the agency’s Board of Directors. With the assistance from a committed core of highly motivated staff, and guidance from the Board of Directors, he continues to develop and facilitate the types of innovations that bring services and new projects into the community that help to stabilize families.

As an accomplished leader, he continues to strengthen his resolve and to hold dear those formative memories and experiences that added to his wisdom while working at the grassroots level of the organization that he loves. Pelham has pledged a renewed focus on program development and resource allocation to meet the needs of the communities the agency serves.
